The NOD is a fun-filled, action-packed event which traditionally takes place over a weekend in mid-June. This two day regatta is hosted by the Nepean Sailing Club and is open to some of the more popular one-design keelboats and dinghies.

The NOD takes place on the Ottawa River where it widens and is known as Lac Deschênes. It is an annual event which has been going strong for well over a decade (it was known as the Midland Walwyn in the early 1990s).

Northumberland Strait Tanzer One Design Regatta

The Pictou Yacht Club is having a T-22 and T-26 One Design Class as part of the 4th annual Trap Stright Memorial Regatta in Pictou, Nova Scotia. Trap was a co-owner of Stright MacKay Ltd., one of the countries largest Tanzer dealers in the late 70's early 80's.

The regatta is scheduled for July 31st - August 2nd, 2009 and consists of 3 races. One short in harbour race and two 20+ nautical mile Northumberland Strait Yachting Association sanctioned races. The see the attached Race posters for both the TTS Memorial and the Tanzer 22 - 26 Class event.

Chester Race Week, August 12-15, 2009 is the largest keel boat regatta in Canada. The historic regatta has been presented by the Chester Yacht Club for over 100 years.
